7 Meetup Groups match “crochet and knit for beginners” near Columbia, MD
This is a group designed to get knitters and crocheters together at least once during the month and share our projects and skill set. Beginner and Advanced needle workers are welcome. I am pretty good at crocheting and welcome anyone who wants to help with the knitting aspect of the group.
We are a group of adults of all ages and skill levels who love to knit, crochet, and socialize. We plan to meet once a week for a knitting group. We will also have additional trips to yarn shops, classes, festivals, and other fiber events. We meet on Thursday evenings at Wegman's in Fairfax. We welcome new members! You do not need to RSVP, just drop in and join us.
I am starting this group for all those that love to knit and want to meet up on a REGULAR basis. Truth be told...I'm doing this to make myself finish projects. Get together with other local crocheters to learn from and teach each other about the art of crocheting. Beginners, intermediates, and experts welcome. Bring your current project and share patterns, tips and techniques. Knitters, sewers, and other crafters welcome to join in as well.
Looking for a knitting/crocheting/needlework group in or near Falls Church City, accessible by public transportation? Me too! So I decided to start one. We'll begin by meeting at the Panera at 450 West Broad Street in Falls Church City, on Sunday afternoons from 3pm to 5pm, and can talk about changing the location and/or day/time as we go. Northern Virginia KnitKnutz is a totally free, totally unstructured, totally fun gathering of knitters of all skill levels and adult ages. We meet from 1 - 5 on the first and third Sunday of the month at the Reston police station, across the street from the Reston library. We love to welcome new members, so invite your knitting and crocheting friends, too! This Meetup site may tell you that there's a fee. THERE IS NO FEE - KNITKNUTZ IS TOTALLY FREE!
